The age you are invited for bowel screening has been lowering from 60 for the last few years.​

 

As of October 2024, everyone aged 50 to 74 years, who is registered with a GP, will be invited every two years.You will receive an invitation letter then receive the FIT home testing kit which is delivered to your home address. If you turned 50 before this date you will be invited at 52.
